1: ABOUT THIS SITE

This website is owned and operated by Van Diemens Analogue Audio Disruptors, Tasmania, Australia. All images, videos, sound files and information on this website are copyright and may not be used, reproduced, shared, distributed, sold or misrepresented. Images, videos, sound files and information on this website may not be used, published or broadcast without the express permission of Van Diemens Analogue Audio Disruptors.

2: ORDERING A PEDAL
​
It is possible to order a Custom pedal from Van Diemens Analogue Audio Disruptors. To do so, contact me at richard@vandiemenseffects.com.au to discuss your needs and requirements. Once an agreement has been reached a quote will be provided to you. Upon acceptance of this quote, you will be required to pay a 25% Deposit prior to the works commencement. This deposit request will be forwarded to you via PayPal.

Once the components have been collected and work starts on the circuit board, this deposit becomes Non-Refundable.

3: REFUNDS & RETURNS
If for any reason you are unhappy with your product you may return the item within 7 days of receiving it. The return of any product will not be accepted after this period.

Returned items must be in original condition and fit for resale. The packaging must be unmarked and free from creases and/ or tears. All documentation, booklets, stickers, badges and other 'Case Candy' must also be returned and fit for resale. All return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. Refunds will be made available after 7 days. You may also chose to swap the returned item for another product.

Items marked as 'On Sale', or 'Custom Orders' are not eligible for return.

4: GENERAL WARRANTY
Van Diemens Analogue Audio Disruptors are hand crafted, point to point using components, often themselves being produced in the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s. No matter how much we love these 'ol" bits' for their mojo and the tone they offer, lets not forget that they are old, some as old as 60 plus years and whilst we do expect and hope they will continue on for another 60 years, we cannot of course guarantee they will last that long.

All products produced by Van Diemens Analogue Audio Disruptors have a first owner, non transferable 3 year warranty that begins from the date of shipment and covers normal wear and tear conditions. This warranty covers workmanship and component failure only.

This warranty does not cover products that have suffered User Damage, including but not limited to
-
Incorrect power supply usage
-
Modification
-
Home or third party repair (unless authorised by Van Diemens Analogue Audio Disruptors)
-
Intentional or accidental damage
-
Liquid damage
-
Any damaged caused by improper use.
Products that have suffered User Damage may be repaired at the customers expense. The customer will also be responsible for covering the cost of the return shipping.
If a product requires repair, it must be returned to Van Diemens Analogue Audio Disruptors packed securely and shipped with tracking at the customers expense. The product will then be examined upon arrival and any repair work deemed necessary will be carried out and the pedal returned to the customer.

5: FINISH WARRANTY
​
Van Diemens Analogue Audio Disruptors are available in both Hand Painted and Powdercoat finishes. Every hand painted Van Diemens pedal is unique and individual. It is an artisanal product and as a result, it is impossible to to control the outcome of each every finish we do.
Hand painted finishes are available on the large enclosure, Deluxe models only. They are not available on the smaller, pedal board friendly enclosures.
Hand painted finishes are guaranteed to be free of defects (as deemed by Van Diemens Analogue Audio Disruptors) at the time of delivery. Being paint, it is susceptible to chips and scratches and as a result, will not be covered for damage caused by general handling and use.
Powdercoat finishes are guaranteed for 3 months.

Finish damage caused by a third party is also not covered by warranty.

​​6: INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
​
All shipping to international destinations will be sent using Australia Post International Express (EMS) and shipment dates, tracking information and links to follow the tracking will be provided by Van Diemens Analogue Audio Disruptors to the client when the item/ s have been dispatched.
Any costs that arise in regards to customs fees, government duties, taxes and/ or any fees to be paid at the receivers end are the sole responsibility of the customer. Van Diemens Analogue Audio Disruptors take no responsibility for these fees and will not cover any additional postage costs outside the original shipping fee. Van Diemens Analogue Audio Disruptors will not make false declarations on any customs documentations, nor will we ship an item as a gift etc.
Further to this, we will not responsible for potential mail delays caused by adverse weather conditions, issues outside of our control, failed delivery attempts, an incorrect address or inaccurate information provided by the customer.

Additional Insurance cover is available to all international customers. Insurance prices may vary depending on the destination.
Van Diemens Analogue Audio Disruptors recommends the use of insurance. Please contact us for a quote if you are interested.

7: PRICES & PRODUCT INFORMATION

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any product or service at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of a product or service.

All prices listed on this website are in US dollars ($US). Van Diemens Analogue Audio Disruptors take no responsibility for the accuracy of 3rd party online 'exchange rates' sites. We accept PayPal for all local and International transactions.
