As with our premium treblebooster, the Red Ochre Standard is build with the finest of vintage electronics and the best mechanical components available today. This is our basic treblebooster, however basic does not do it justice. Created with the original Rangermaster in mind, this simple pedal offers one knob, a boost knob, driving the amount of boost or volume from the pedal. It will push the front end of any amp and it can push it hard, adding brightness and sparkle when the guitar is cleaned up, and full on overdrive when cranked. It's a mighty little beast. I like it as an 'always on' pedal.

The Red Ochre Standard is created with 60s or 70's NOS or reclaimed germanium transistors and NOS or reclaimed capacitors and resistors. We have chosen to run with the fabulous NKT72's for these builds (though other transistors can be requested). The Red Ochre Standard ships in Hammered Gold, just like it's big sister. However you can request another colour if required. These pedals are external nine volt power only (no battery) and are housed in a pedal board friendly Hammond trapezoid enclosure.
