The Thylacine germanium fuzz is our take on the classic 2 transistor MK1.5 tonebender.

Housing NOS or reclaimed components from the 60s and 70's, these pedals are made with that vintage tone in mind.

This pedal features an amazing pair of Newmarket (unbranded) OC84 tranisitors. There are Philips, Siemens and Mullard mustard capacitors and Piher and Allen Bradley resistors. All electronic components are tested and picked for the best possible sound experience. The hardware are all quality components and feature Alpha pots, Carling footswitch, Switchcraft jacks and a Lumburg 2.1mm DC power socket, all housed in a Hammond enclosure and finished in a hammered gold finish.

This fuzz is harmonically very active. It is a bright, full and agressive fuzz but it is also very dynamic with some great sounds being produced by the amount of pick attack alone. It cleans up very nicely when rolling the attack control back a bit and then rolling back the guitar volume, however, when it's wound up, it's loaded with rich harmonics and has that violin quality to it. This fuzz is a beast.

This pedal is Serial Number TH014.

Sound files are available at the link above. TH014 which is listed 3rd from the bottom.

In regards to the DC power socket, it is the standard Boss size plugh, negative centre pin, This pedal contains germaniumum transistors. As a result, it is imperritive that this pedal is powered with an Isolated Power supply only  and NOT a daisy chain.
